I have two performances coming up in September. I had hoped to get at least one performance scheduled in August, but it looks like that isn’t going to work out. The good side of that, however, is that I will be able to use that extra time to rehearse with a drummer friend. He and I have been discussing a collaboration for several weeks, and so I’m finally going to get off my butt and do something about it.

I’ve added two songs to the Music section. The first is called “Lift Off”, and was recorded during a performance from a couple of years ago. The song has evolved and changed a bit since this recording (e.g. I don’t use a rhythm machine anymore) and now has a slightly tigher structure. The second file is a 2-minute sample from a song called “A Pleasant Fiction”. I recorded this at home a couple of weeks ago while trying to teach myself the process of recording, mixing, and mastering tracks on computer.
